CK3 Not scanning in RF

These are the things to check first before requesting and RMA or emailing HD to create a ticket. 
  1. Try ScanDiagnostic which is on the device main menu. 


  2. Click Internal EX25 then click Diagnose




  3. Scan the barcode, does it populate data in label data?
    1. YES – Carry on with the guide. 
    2. NO – Submit an RMA to the HD with serial number and error.
       

  4. Press OK then go to the Start Menu, scroll down and click Notes


  5. Click the button highlighted. 


  6. Scan the barcode, does it populate the data in the notes screen? 
    1. Yes – Load up RF and ensure you have focus in the box when you scan the barcode, if it works, follow the process and does the error still happen? 
      1. Yes  Email HD with the scenario and relevant data for further investigation.
      2. No  Continue with using RF and monitor.
    2. No  Continue with the guide by clicking OK, the the X then Windows button at the bottom left.

  7. Go to Settings 


  8. Click System


  9. Click Intermec Settings


  10. Select Virtual Wedge


  11. Click Enable Virtual Wedge 


  12. Ensure Enable Virtual Wedge is ticked. 


  13. Then click OK then Back.

  14. Click Data Collection


  15. Click Internal Scanner.


  16. Click Scanner Settings


  17. Scroll down and ensure Hardware Trigger is checked. 


  18. Click OK then OK

  19. Try parts 1 - 6, if it works in scan diagnostic and also in the notes, try again in RF.

  20. If it doesn't work in RF, email HD with the relevant information (Gun, Serial Number, Customer, Example Barcode and screen in RF trying to scan).
